Lisa B. Dancer

Lisa Beth (Richards) Dancer, age 56, passed peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of May 31, 2022. Lisa was born on July 25, 1965 in Merced, California. She was the third child of Alonzo Richards and Beverly Evans Richards. She moved with her family to Missouri in 1967 and remained in the area until her death. Lisa held numerous jobs, working as a maid in various businesses and, occasionally, taking employment through temp agencies. Lisa was a fun person to be around. She always had a sarcastic comment to make. She loved animals and had many pets throughout her lifetime. She could often times be seen wearing her favorite color, purple! Lisa was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Legrand of Skiatook, Oklahoma; her brother, Andy Richards of Bolivar, Missouri; 5 children: Andrew Stever of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Teresa Richards of Joplin, Missouri; Crystal, Cory and Stephanie; and 4 grandchildren, Kadence and Madison Johnston, Hunter McArthur and Hannah Charbonneau, all of Joplin. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, make donations to Teresa Richards to assist in Cremation and burial.
