Lisa L. Cheney

August 21, 1953 - February 26, 2022

Lisa Louise Cheney, age 68 passed away at 11:30 am Saturday February 26, 2022 peacefully at her home in Girard, KS. Lisa was born August 21,1953 in Santa Rosa, CA to Frank Drake and Pearl White. She went on to grow up in Calwood, Mo where she attended school and was an active member of Unity Baptist Church. Although Lisa grew up in central Missouri she loved the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Lisa spent her life as a nurse taking care of others until she was unable to do so. Her greatest joys in life were being with her husband Charles Cheney, being outdoors fishing and camping and on the back of a Harley-Davidson. She was married to Charles October 21,2000 in Fulton Missouri. He preceded her in death May 23, 2020. Lisa is survived by two children. Amanda Atkins (husband Ricky)Girard KS , and Tony Sessler (wife Cindy) of Ashland Mo. Her sister Renee Watson of Ariel WA. Three grandchildren Laura Milliner (Husband Michael), Dalton Haynes and Codi Sessler. One great- grandchild Dahlia Devault. She was preceded in death by one brother Jimmy Bratton and one sister Rise Drake.
