Kelven W. Fernside

April 14, 1961 - July 29, 2021

Kelven W Fernside passed away on July 9th, 2021, at 9:30am at the age of 60 years of age from heart failure. Kelven was recently diagnosed with cancer and had a rapid decline. He was self-employed and ran his handyman service. Kelven was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on April 14, 1961, to parents Thomas J Fernside and Thelma J Fernside and big family. He was always willing to help people and at times would give his shirt off his back if he could. Kelven also really like to joke around, and he was very sarcastic which why he attracted a lot of people to him. He was a religious man and went to church most of the time on Sunday. He is survived by his mother Thelma Fernside, 2 brothers Terry and Ben Fernside, and 4 sister Colleen Bailey, Dixie Claycamp, Linda Fernside, and Debbie Richt. Sadly, he had three brothers pass before him. He was a proud father of 3 boys David Beavers, Keith Gaylord, and Kyle Fernside and one daughter Michelle Trotter he gained through marriage. He also had 10 grandkids he loved being around and they loved being around him. I have to say this man was very loved and he touched so many people’s hearts, and he will truly be missed.
