James G. Richards

James Glenn Richards, 54, died Friday, April 8, 2022 at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri. He was born on September 5, 1967 in Fayetteville, Missouri, to Lowell and Norma (Poeschl) Richards. He graduated from Higbee High School in 1985, and continued his education at University of Missouri, graduating in 1988. Jim worked for Jasper Products for 16 years as a Lab Technician. Jim loved history, cooking for his friends and family, and playing Xbox with his son. He valued community and endeavored to be a good neighbor and friend. He was a devoted father and husband. Jim married Christina Stich on December 16, 2016. Together they had one son, Liam Edward Richards, on September 27, 2015. They both survive of the home. Other survivors include his step son, Joseph Carpenter, sister Mari Kay Dyer (Loren Dyer,) brothers Dale Richards and John Richards (Cynthia,) and many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Paul Richards. Jim was loved by many. He will be missed sorely.
